For kids in India, the humid Summer and Monsoon seasons make access to safe water a playtime prerequisite.

Summer is a time for fun and play. But for the millions of kids living in India who don't have access to safe water, the carefree joys of summer can be a world away. 

Time spent collecting water detracts from the hours kids can spend in school or playing with their friends, and the hot climate of the subcontinent makes a safe drink of water a playtime necessity. Yet, whether biking with a best friend or skipping rope at home, kids need more than just refreshment: they need to know that the next sip of water won't make them sick. 

With your help, we've brought safe water to hundreds-of-thousands of kids across India. And safe water has given those same kids more time to laugh and play.
